When you care enough to send the very best . . . Sounds familiar? It's the most remembered and recognized line that has been used for ages. Ever since I could remember, Hallmark has this phrase as their standard tagline. I think it took them a lot of years to finally get the right tagline for their brand. But when they had it, well, the rest is history. Well written and thought of verses are what makes Hallmark recognized as the leader of all greeting cards. For birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, New Year -- whatever the occasion, they have quite a list of quotes to emphasize the "specialness" of the day. But not everyone can be like Hallmark, especially when we try to come up with a witty saying or a romantic quote to give to our lovedones. In fact, not everyone can be a greeting card person. Nevertheless, nothing beats a well crafted greeting card project when it's created with time and effort. Not only that, when you have that special verse, you can always use it to decorate almost anything, be it calendars, magnets, booklets, and bookmarks, among others. Here are a few considerations when you're creating your very own custom greeting cards: Always consider the recipient of your greeting card printing project. Are they young, old, male or female, in a relationship with you, your friend or your boss, etc. Whoever receives your greeting card should be able to relate to your message. Your well-crafted verse would just be wasted on someone who doesn't get it. Consider the tone of your greeting card. The tone actually sets the mood of your card. Depending on your sentiments, you may want to make your message (and design as well) happy and light, funny, romantic, serious, sentimental, sarcastic, spiritual, childlike, for adults only. Consider too, the occasion. Are your greeting cards for a special occasion? Is it in time for Christmas or for the New Year? For a birthday, an anniversary, a housewarming, a baby shower, a bridal shower, or a stag party. The list goes on. Most importantly, consider your style. Everybody has his or her own way of saying his or her thoughts, feelings, as well as meanings to other people. You may want to keep your message short and simple, but with a punch. Or you go for a funnier but romantic message given to your better half. Now that Christmas is just around the corner, why not start a greeting card printing project that would embody what you want said during this special holiday. You might be surprised at how eloquent you can be when your message comes from the heart. So say it right with your greeting cards.
